Madison Children’s Museum will become a kid-free zone once again for its next Adult Swim fundraiser on Friday, September 16, from 6–10 pm.
MCM’s Adult Swim nights have proven wildly popular, with more than 500 grownups getting to be kids for the night. Adult Swim honors the public pool tradition of clearing the kids out so adults can have the space to themselves.
Adult Swim is a great event to attend with a group of friends, family, or coworkers! Wine, beer, and Roman Candle pizza will be available for purchase. Enjoy music by Latin jazz sextet Mambo Blue on the Rooftop Ramble from 7:30-9:30 pm. Climb the Hodgepodge Mahal, drive the Punch Buggy, and take in the work of more than 120 local artists who contributed pieces to the new museum.
Adults 21 and up are welcome. A valid ID will be required to enter the event. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at MadisonChildrensMuseum.org until 4 pm the day of the event, or at the door for the same price if tickets remain.
Have you attended an Adult Swim at MCM? We’d love to hear about it! I’m always so tempted to climb the Hodgepodge Mahal, but it wouldn’t be fair to Milena who still has to wait two more years.
