We’ve been hearing some great things about Kidz Place in Verona recently. None of us at Raising Madison have had a chance to check it out yet, but RM readers Colleen and Liz filled us in on what it’s all about. Thanks, ladies!
Kidz Place is part of the Verona School district. It’s free and meant for kids up to age 5. While mostly open play, there’s also a song/story time lead by a kindergarten teacher.
As of last week, Kidz Place was held at Sugar Creek Elementary School on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 9-11am, however it is moving to Country View Elementary (710 Lone Pine Way, Verona) in the next couple weeks, so currently there is no Kidz Place (we at RM will let you know dates/times when it’s back up and running).
When held at Sugar Creek Elementary, Kidz Place had a craft table, sand station, dress-up area, plus lots and lots of toys for every age group. There’s also a place for children to enjoy snacks brought from home – just remember that Kidz Place is a peanut- and tree nut-free environment.

Have you taken your kids to Kidz Place? We’d love to hear more about it!
