The Stoughton Fair began June 30th and continues through July 4th at the Stoughton Fairgrounds in Mandt Park. The Stoughton Fair is a not-for-profit event which utilizes hundreds of area volunteers to manage and carry out this event. There will be Family Fun For All Ages! Check the website for a schedule of events! The fair ends with a fireworks display July 4th at 9:30 pm.
Elver Park Fireworks take place this Friday, July 2 at 9:30 pm (1250 McKenna Blvd). Guests can bring a picnic & enjoy Elver Park beginning at 7 pm. For more information, visit the Elver Park Fireworks website. In the event of rain, the fireworks may be postponed. The final call will be made by 8 pm and announced on Z104 and on the city website.
Rhythm & Booms returns to Warner Park on
Saturday, July 3 (Rain date: Monday, July 5). Rhythm & Booms is Madison’s official Independence Day celebration and the largest single-day event in Wisconsin. The show offers many daytime events and music stages to entertain the whole family before the world-class fireworks performance.
The Madison Mallards will play a baseball game at Warner Park beginning at 5:05 PM on July 3rd. Stay after the game to watch the fireworks from the field, then the Mallards will play a movie on their big-screen TV after the show. The Madison Mallards will DONATE $1 to Rhythm & Booms for every ticket sold online to this game!
DeForest’s 4th of July Celebration: Mark your calendar for Friday, July 2-4th for a great weekend of live entertainment, food, parade, freedom run, bingo, fireworks and much more! Friday evening entertainment, the Love Monkeys, sponsored by the DeForest Area Joint Room Tax Commission. (In case of rain, Fireworks will take place on Monday, July 5th) Check the website for a schedule of events.
The Monona Community Festival runs July 3 – 4 at Winnequah Park. Weekend events include a carnival, Firecracker Hunt, live music, an art fair, family games, Taste of Monona, and the Wife Carry Competition.
