Concerts on the Square – Kids’ Area

Concerts on the Square‘s 27th season with The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, led by Maestro Andrew Sewell, begins this Wednesday, June 30 and includes six consecutive Wednesday evenings (June 30 – August 4) beginning at 7:00 p.m.

If you’ve never been to Concerts on the Square before, make sure to get there early so you get a good spot. We love enjoying this amazing (and FREE) experience with our families! And we’re really excited about this year’s Kids’ Area!

The Kids’ Area is located on the corner of North Pinckney Street and East Washington Avenue. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in the free activities and are required to accompany their children at all times.

Here’s what’s happening in the Kids’ Area this week:

Let’s get together!
June 30, 2010 | 5:30 & 6:15

Children’s Theater of Madison’s Teaching Artist will lead
young concert goers in improvisations exploring the joys of
working together. Join CTM for games in which participants
will create together…and create togetherness!

  1. I’m so glad to learn about this kid’s area. I was concerned about taking our 1 year old to the concert since she doesn’t sit still for more than 5 minutes, so we’ll definitely check it out next week. Thanks!
