Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? Check out Fitchburg Days!
The event starts tonight (Friday) at 4pm, and goes Saturday all day, and Sunday until 5pm. Sunday is Latino day and features Mexican culture in the form of food and dance troupes.
All three days include live music and family-friendly games and activities. Be sure to check out handpicked local Wisconsin food vendors under the big white tent (consequently, that’s also where the beer is). Carnival rides and fair food is also available, and be sure to check out the Amazing Rainforest Experience – it’s new to the fair this year and looks amazing!
“The Children’s Tent features International Day. Events will run from 12pm to 4pm and include a signature wall, story time, arts and crafts, children’s games and bubble making mania! People coming to the children’s tent will create a flag of the nation of their ancestry and place it in the exhibit. Additionally, there will be a music and dance demonstration by the Capoeira Angola Group.”
Also, come to the Liliana’s booth to visit RM blogger (and restaurateur) Tiffany and her husband, Chef Dave who will be manning the booth most of the weekend. (I am taking breaks so I can go nurse my baby though, sorry if I’m not there!)
Fitchburg Days is held at McKee Farms Park (2930 Chapel Valley Road).
